Believing in Christ, Acting in Solidarity

Catholic Lay Movement & Social Enterprise Empowering Kenya Since 1990

Identity & Heritage

Who We Are

Kolping Organization of Kenya Ltd is a registered Catholic lay movement and social enterprise operating across Kenya. Inspired by the life and teachings of Blessed Adolph Kolping (1813–1865), our organization exists to foster integral human development by combining spiritual growth, vocational technical education, climate-smart agriculture, community microfinance, and social enterprises.

Our Fundamental Pillars

  • Vocational Education (KVTC): Hands-on technical skills for youth in Carpentry, Electrical, IT, Mechanics, Tailoring, and Catering.
  • Climate Agriculture & WASH: Vertical planting bags, organic composting, livestock pass-ons, and ferrocement water cisterns.
  • Community Microfinance: Self-governed savings circles and microcredit seed capital for small business owners.
  • Human Formation & Advocacy: Spiritual retreats, family enrichment, civic rights, and UN/ILO consultative advocacy.

National Reach Across Kenya

Kolping Kenya organizes local communities into over 50 chartered Kolping Families spread across five metropolitan zones:
